Swimming

Children in Year 5 and 6 will have the opportunity to learn to swim during the year. The following kit is required:

• Towel
• Swimwear - Boys must wear swimming trunks or shorts no longer than mid thigh length (no Bermudas or long shorts are acceptable as these become dangerous when full of water. Girls must wear a one-piece swimsuit.
• Swimming caps should be worn or the hair must be tied back.
• It is advised that swimming goggles are not worn during school swimming lessons unless a medical condition requires they be worn.
