Individual Music Tuition

We offer additional music tuition that takes place in school at an additional cost. Please contact the school office for further information.

  • Children can choose to learn a variety of instruments including guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and voice. 
  • They work together as a band and have opportunities to perform at several points throughout the year.

  • Mini Mozarts offer one to one piano tuition in a fun and innovative way. 
  • The lessons are divided into two parts, half focusing on theory through fun and games and half on the practical side.

  • Schools Music Service hold a showcase every September for those who are interested in learning an instrument in a small group.
  • They offer lessons in strings, keyboard and guitar. 

 

Class Music Tuition

Year 3 receive 6 weeks of ukulele lessons from St.Helens Schools Music Service. 

All children have the opportunity to play untuned percussion instruments and glockenspiels as a whole class.

 

Music Clubs Afterschool

Choir is available to Year 3, 4, 5 & 6 on Tuesdays at 3.30pm - 4.15pm and is led by Mrs Matthews.
Permission to attend the club is sought at the start of the school year by Mrs Matthews.
Children sing at a variety of venues throughout the year, such as: AO Arena (Young Voices Event), local pubs, the local nursing homes, St.Helens Town Hall (Lost in Music Event) and in assembly.
