Y4 Tatton Park Trip

Date: 14th Feb 2020 @ 9:33am

On Friday 7th February 2020, we went to Tatton Park for an Anglo Saxon/Viking school trip. We were taught how to hunt for deer, make bread, make a shield wall and braid wool. Because someone had stolen money, the Saxons paid the vikings to keep peace so they decided to send us to the slave market. Luckily, the thief was found and we returned back home safe and sound. We had lots of fun even though Harold the Viking who taught us to become warriors frightened us to death. Before we left, we had a meeting to discuss the important matter of the day. Here are some of the braids we made.
