Y4 Money Week

Date: 24th Jan 2020 @ 3:25pm

On Wednesday 22nd January, Year 4 Birch sold rice crispie cakes, homemade lemonade and guess the amount of sweets in the huge jar. We managed to raise £82.33. After paying Mrs Cain £20 to cover the cost of the materials and £2 interest for borrowing the money, we made a profit of £60.33. The rice crispie cakes sold out really quickly as did the lemonade but it took up until lunchtime for the lucky winner to guess the correct amount of midget gems. We had a draw between Eva F and Alex G. Funnily enough, next doors winnner was Luke Graham who is Alex’s twin brother. The total amount of sweets in the jar was 386. We are looking forward to discussing how to spend our profit!
